The irony is that Jeter got waxed by the Yankee scorer offensively and defensively. So many times, an error was called on a defender when it should have been a hit for Jeter and the same was true for Jeter in the field. I always thought that too, but I figured it was probably because I was an unabashed Jeter booster. But if you saw it as well -- two such perceptive observers can't both be wrong. And, at the time, from two different coasts! |
