Boone doesn't care. It could have been a big confidence boost for Schmidt. No earned runs in 4 1/3 should help him though. I think this 5th inning BS had a lot to do with the Montgomery deal. I don’t see how Monty could have been happy… I'm sure Monty is enjoying St. Louis, although in his last start he lost 1-0 to Kershaw, so he much have thought he was back with the Yankees. |

I don’t see how Monty could have been happy… I'm sure Monty is enjoying St. Louis, although in his last start he lost 1-0 to Kershaw, so he much have thought he was back with the Yankees. The Cardinals have been really crappy this year. |
