Bader in the lineup. No word on Peraza. Adding Bader and Bauer shouldn’t be a big deal, but it does make the lineup feel longer. Performance will be the key 🔑… |

YONNY CHIRINOS
Here’s Yonny! Just 6 hits and 2 BB allowed in 14 innings so far this season with a 0.64 ERA, but making his first start since 2020. I wonder if he’s looked at as an opener, or it he’ll just be on a pitch count? the Rays can be so unconventional with their pitching…

I wonder if he’s looked at as an opener, or it he’ll just be on a pitch count? the Rays can be so unconventional with their pitching… DJ is only 3-15 lifetime against Chirinos, but two of the hits were HR's. |

Performance will be the key 🔑… Good defensive outfield with Cabrera in right. I won't be here for the game, going to meet my old college roommate for dinner and cocktails. He and his wife are not getting along. I have little wisdom to impart, as Sarah and I really never had problems. Our relationship was easy as a fried egg sandwich. We didn't fight, no rude language or name calling, and loved being with each other every moment we could. We just couldn't stand being apart for more than a couple days at a time. I was very lucky in that regard. Cheers, gentlemen! I'll lift a glass to our little Yankee community and pay attention to my beverages and victuals to share later. Geaux Yankees!  |

I have to work tomorrow morning at a recruitment deal, so I'll imbibe judiciously, as usual. Any suggestions? I can get the tried and true chicken fried steak, a coffee-rubbed ribeye, a half-rack of smoked ribs, fried catfish, pan seared jumbo shrimp? |
