The Yankees are acquiring outfielder Greg Allen from the Red Sox, reports Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe (Twitter link). Allen had been in the Boston organization on a minor league contract. Abraham adds the trade was due to an upward mobility clause in Allen’s deal which required the Red Sox to either promote him or trade him if another club offered an immediate big league roster spot. Michael Kay even mentioned it on the broadcast a few weeks ago! Its a catchy song! I added to my walking playlist. That song was Ringo's first solo release after the breakup of The Beatles in 1970. It charted higher than any of Lennon or McCartney's solo efforts up to that point. George Harrison had the first post-Beatles solo number one a few months earlier with "My Sweet Lord." George co-wrote, produced and played lead guitar on "It Don't Come Easy." |

Its a catchy song! I added to my walking playlist. That song was Ringo's first solo release after the breakup of The Beatles in 1970. It charted higher than any of Lennon or McCartney's solo efforts up to that point. George Harrison had the first post-Beatles solo number one a few months earlier with "My Sweet Lord." George co-wrote, produced and played lead guitar on "It Don't Come Easy." Great info pipps! The guitar riff by Harrison is so catchy. |

What does Allen offer that Florial couldn't give you? Yankees minor league manager never makes sense. Bring up Andujar a million times till he gets cold and then play him when he's cold. Same for Florial. Same for Peraza. Now Rovadelt. Yet the twitter trolls think the Yankees will make Peraza the starting SS and trade Gleyber like they aren't even letting Peraza play when he's up here now he's going to start? |
