Yesterday, internet service to my apartment complex went down and was supposed to take 12 to 13 hours for repair. Well, it has been off all morning and so far this afternoon, so I went to Half-Price Books just in case I would be without it all weekend. I read about ten pages and now it's fixed! Should have opened up a book yesterday. I missed the entire first game of this series. I'm housesitting for the one of the richest families in town and their internet sucks. Really annoying. |

4-1 REDS. I don’t blame Brito much, he’s still supposed to be in AAA. But it’s time to try something else… Special thanks to German for super gluing his hand so we can’t do anything for a while… He's an ok #5 starter if we didn't have to deal with Schmidt and his inconsistent pitching in the same Rotation. I expect Schmidt to remain in the rotation and stretched out when Sevy returns tomorrow, and Brito will likely go to AAA to serve as starting pitching depth. |

I drove to Dallas this morning to get a hair cut and visit my sister, and on the way I listened to David Cone's Toeing the Slab Podcast. During the cast, it was noted that the American League East is 93-48 against teams outside of their division. That is a 107 game win pace. Tampa was something like 21-2 against teams other than the AL East, which tells me the Rays will be coming back to the pack.
