I hoped the rubber match would be an afternoon game. Oh well, I suppose someone has to be a late game. Bobby Miller is a young pitcher that I've heard rave reviews about from none other than David Cone. German needs his "A" game tonight.

To be fair, it is an afternoon game in LA. I enjoy being the only game on. Now that Succession is done I can relax and watch the game. Yeah, ESPN announcers blow, but oh well. |

Boone gave Stanton the day off yesterday - Stanton has been telling the Yankees that he needs to play the field so he doesn't get hurt.
Boone said he would use Stanton as a designated hitter, at least for the first couple of weeks.
“I need to be [in the outfield]. I need to stay moving,” Stanton said. “It’s better for the team as well, so it’s what I’ve got to do.”
Sure he isn't the best outfielder but if your trying to keep one of your best hitters healthy and in the lineup, I think you should at least go 50-50 on his request.

Miller has had some big K numbers in MiLB though he can be worked to a walk and has allowed about a homer per 1 innings. His first two MLB starts have been successful over 11 innings with a 1.64 ERA… |

Yankee LF's hit 3 HR's yesterday so we can let this slide for now. |

No Judge for a national prime time game. God forbid they run the same line-up out there 2 days in a row. If they didn't regularly rest these guys or have strict pitch limits somebody might get hurt. |
