One thing that I admired about Joe Torre is that he tried to get a recent call up from AAA into a game as soon as possible. One, he wanted them to feel part of the team. Two, he wanted to get a look at them to see what they could do.

For as vaunted a relief corp as we supposedly have, (using vaunted as a nod to Inger) we seem to allow too many inherited runners to score.
