Donaldson can't get it done. His average is around .150 (the box score stats on ESPN and MLB.com aren't updating for some reason). Espn just showed a statistic that the Yankees are last in every offensive category since Judge went out. I know Judge is amazing but comeon there's all-stars on this team swapping out Judge for Stanton can't make that much of a drastic difference to go from being the hottest team in baseball for a month to the worst. The first time Judge was out, Rizzo and Bader were hitting. Now, Bader is out and Rizzo has been awful since the collision at first base. DJ would be benched if not for everyone else being inept. |

Bello 102 pitches. Is that allowed? LSU's Paul Skenes threw 126 pitches in the first game of the College World Series and 46 of his pitches were 100 mph or more. Boone would have lifted him after 4 and 2/3rds. Skenes got two outs in the eighth before being lifted. |

Case in point multiple times the Yankees in May when falling behind a couple tied it back with in an inning or two now it's basically stick around at a tie game then the other team eventually scored and it's never ending playing catch-up

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I've never liked the philosophy at the major league level of hit strikes hard. There is so much more to hitting than the one sentence cave man approach. Situational baseball is important and so are fundamentals. |
