One righthander leaves, another one comes in. Yep, four relievers to get ten outs. Brito gets taken out for walking a single batter. We have a great pen, I just hope all these pitching changes don't have a cumulative effect later in the season. |

On the positive side: We won, Donaldson only struck out once and Volpe homered. I don't blame Boone for all this because Cashman has left him very little options. I do blame him for batting Donaldson 5th. Why not 9th? I don't have the desire to do the research but I wonder if Donaldson might be the only regular baseball player to hit less than .150 and have an on base percentage less than .200. I used to refer, as other's did, to Gallo as a "black hole". Donaldson makes him look like a solar flare.
