Probably “Maggie May”… "Rain" was a strong B side for "Paperback Writer." "My City Was Gone" was the B for "Back On The Chain Gang." "Born On The Bayou" for "Proud Mary." "Shut Down" for "Surfin' USA." Lots of good ones. |

Now we're on the Yacht Rock cruise. Rupert Holmes also wrote Timothy, a hit song by the Buoys, whose subject matter some people find distasteful. The Buoys were from Scranton and played at my wife's senior prom. Well, she wouldn't be my wife for another ten years. |
