I'd take Bellinger in a heartbeat, he's 27 years old - he had an awesome first three years of career and is having a nice year this season. Yankees need more lefty power, the shift away from that in recent years has been naive by Cashman, Fishman and FO IMO. I guess they did try to solve this with Benintendi but he got injured then they ignored it in the off season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I figure the worst he could be is our version of a Joey Gallo that worked out, could handle the bright lights. Maybe hit .220 with 30+ bombs per season. The best? Well, maybe he’s fully back and MVP quality again. The troubling aspect might be the price. Do the Cubbies trade him? Or do we wait until he’s a free agent and see where the bidding goes?

It would be so Cashman to have to give up a couple good prospects for a player he easily could have signed this past offseason, but he thought Hicks and Oswaldo could handle LF.

This is my favorite one: The Rockies who are going no where just want Montas for 2 months max before becoming a FA and Trevino who just had TJS and might give you 2 months at the end of the 2024 season.

I forgot Lou Trivino was on this team. Not sure anybody Cashman trades for actually goes onto the roster. They just go straight to the IL.

No on Bellinger in a trade. If he stays healthy the rest of the year consider going after him in free agency. I like him when he is healthy but in my opinion we are more than one player away from reaching the WS this year. Why give up any of our prospects, if they really are prospects? I don't know because they are never called up.

Agree with you!!!! www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/yankees-reporter-loosely-links-gleyber-torres-to-four-teams-amid-deadline-rumors/ar-AA1dJrLI?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=1498330145364317b5a15712b1cb48ee&ei=10...Torres is an interesting case, as he's a poor defender and over-aggressive base runner -- but has an above-average bat with an elite ceiling. At the begging of their careers, Torres often looked like he'd be the superior player to Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers -- who debut around the same time. If a team bet on his ceiling, the Yankees could get a solid big leaguer in return, or at least someone with high potential. It's well known that the Yankees attempted to trade Torres for Pablo Lopez but the deal fell through. If the right player becomes available, general manager Brian Cashman would be willing to ship him off. www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/279-000-000-yankees-roster-continues-to-struggle-as-aaron-boone-vents-dissatisfaction-about-understanding-team/ar-AA1dJoe5?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=4eb036b3a5d045639c3da11e5f7cefb4&ei=12$279,000,000 Yankees roster continues to struggle as Aaron Boone vents dissatisfaction about understanding team www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/mlb-rumors-3-teams-reported-to-be-buyers-at-deadline-and-what-they-want/ar-AA1dJl3n?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=ec06694ab2724808a4e87bbfa4b509b8&ei=11MLB rumors: 3 teams reported to be buyers at deadline and what they want www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/mlb-rumors-shohei-ohtani-makes-free-agency-intentions-crystal-clear/ar-AA1dGKqa?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=5ee193f85dc243cf8565e68d085438d1&ei=11MLB Rumors: Shohei Ohtani makes free agency intentions crystal clear
