No on Bellinger in a trade. If he stays healthy the rest of the year consider going after him in free agency. I like him when he is healthy but in my opinion we are more than one player away from reaching the WS this year. Why give up any of our prospects, if they really are prospects? I don't know because they are never called up.

...Torres is an interesting case, as he's a poor defender and over-aggressive base runner -- but has an above-average bat with an elite ceiling. At the begging of their careers, Torres often looked like he'd be the superior player to Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers -- who debut around the same time.
If a team bet on his ceiling, the Yankees could get a solid big leaguer in return, or at least someone with high potential.
It's well known that the Yankees attempted to trade Torres for Pablo Lopez but the deal fell through. If the right player becomes available, general manager Brian Cashman would be willing to ship him off.

It’s interesting to read (second article in Dome’s post) that Juan Soto “hasn’t panned out” for the Padres. He leads the major leagues in BB because no one wants to pitch to him, yet he has a 153 OPS+. I wonder what was expected of him if this is considered a failure… I hope they want a 2B because I’d love to be able to ship Gleyber out to them
As the headliner in a package deal for Soto…
