IMO, Yanks aren't getting Soto or anyone else close to his ilk. Hal's budget will not allow it. |

IMO, Yanks aren't getting Soto or anyone else close to his ilk. Hal's budget will not allow it. Yet we have Hal pocketing $190 million from selling a patch on the Yankees jerseys to Starr insurance. 
I guess thats he meant when he said the Yankees are all about starrs.

IMO, Yanks aren't getting Soto or anyone else close to his ilk. Hal's budget will not allow it. Hal should look at all the money his GM has wasted on bad contracts. It would be easier to acquire a player like Soto without all that dead weight salary on the team's books. |

Yankees should just wait until Ohtani is a free agent, unless he signs a extension. Giving away prospects for 3 months for a rental is a waste.

The trade for Soto seems a little light. I think the Pads would ask for more. The trade for Ohtani is a gross overpay for a rental. I do t even know if I’d want Ohtani on the team as a FA. He’d eat up a huge portion of budget and we’d have to accommodate him with a six-man rotation. I might be more amenable to him as a closer than a starting pitcher… 🔥 (just lighting a fire). I’d rather we find other great players. I don’t want to see the team be Judge, Ohtani, one Ace in the rotation and a bunch of “what we have now”, like Donaldson, etc… |

You have to admit, it would be fun final two months to see these three as teammates. Plus this rotation: Cole Ohtani Rodon Nestor Sevy (maybe) Schmidt (if he's hasn't been traded) German  |
