There are not that many prospects that I would consider Elite ... Dominguez is the only current Yankee prospect that I would consider Elite Elite to me would have to be top 25-50 prospects and even some of them are going to be more traits based prospects as opposed to top 50 production
Like someone mentioned earlier ... even the top prospects are more likely to fail then to reach their full potential

And yet, there’s always another star in the mix here and there… Like the Yankees core 5 and Judge. Mo and Posada were not Elite Prospects ... They became Elite players. Prior to the 1995 season, the Yankees attempted to trade Posada and Mariano Rivera to the Reds for pitcher David Wells, but Cincinnati turned down the offer.

True, but I was agreeing that there's always a star in the mix.

Blake Snell pitched a No No while Stroman pitched batting practice.

Blake Snell pitched a No No while Stroman pitched batting practice. Signing Snell would have cost the Yankees draft slots, international bonus money. And, his contract 23.5 million dollar contract would have cost the Yankees about 47 million dollars.

All I'm saying is if Soto is a one and done they needed to go all in.
