I'm saddled with the A's broadcast. Dallas Braden noted that like German, his perfect game was also his first career complete game. He said he spoke with German in the clubhouse after the game. How's their new play by play guy? |

Did Braden demand that the interview take place on "his" mound? He's not really too bad. I thought he would be more of a jerk. Maybe it’s just A-Rod bringing out the worst in everyone. A-Rod certainly was the source of many of my hateful thoughts over the years. |

So does Schmidt get kicked out of the rotation now instead of German when Nestor and Rodon come back? Stay tuned. Schmidt has options. I wouldn't be surprised if they sent him back to Scranton even though he's pitched well lately. He gets no breaks at all. No wonder he has Bitter Beer Face. |
