Looks like Volpe's eight game hitting streak is coming to an end. They are pitching him away with sliders and two seamers, and he's offering at the sliders rather than forcing them to prove they can throw three of them for strikes.

You can only be the 17th ranked in pitching and 10th in the Al out of 15 teams for so long before it starts showing for the orioles and it has showed this week.
