It's tough when the guys that are paid to produce for this team never show up anymore. Guys like Volpe and IKF can only do so much. True. Rizzo should have put that cookie in the upper deck. |

We almost got the bloop we needed after the walk. Sucks cause Yankees have looked like the better team most of this series but like you said Boone decisions of the bad outfield defense pulling the starter too earlier etc but 2-0 in the sixth inning you can't be giving up 4 run innings with the league best bullpen oh well as I said early 3 of 4 was always ideal but you get greedy when you win the first two. How has DJL gotten so bad? He's fast headed for the Mendoza line. Never thought that would ever happen. He is missing hittable pitches and swinging out of the strike zone way too often. He actually looked better when he was hurt, in terms of plate discipline. It's like he's not seeing the ball and starting to guess. |

This is very true, especially when you had McKinney available. They could have DH'd Bauers if they wanted him in the line up that badly. |

This is the thing it's not like hes hitting into bad luck he's not even getting contact on the ball. He's already at what he was in strikeouts last season and its 50 something less games. |
