DJ I think is starting to turn it around. Peraza can be useful if he can get on base like the for sure. I think Torres is playing well.
Rizzo needs to really learn to hit HRS again..

More Boone idiocy.
They also just give away runs + give the other team extra outs like crazy. Peraza had a good night, but you can't be falling on your face in that first ab on the bases. Obv bad luck the Oswaldo hit bounced in the stands and that extra run prob wins them the game. Mckinney taking off on the non Stanton HR which didn't allow him to tag up. Like one of these plays goes differently they get that extra run and its over in 9. |

There is 67 games left. If Judge comes back on August 1st which I think is a possibility there will be 55 games left. SEVEN of those games are against the cheaters. They are all after August 1st.
The Yankees are done with the west coast after this.

I went to bed after the Ohtani debacle, but I had no doubt how this game was going to end out.
Rizzo & Stanton: 0 for 10 with 5 strikeouts. Way to pick up the slack boys.

Boone said after the game that they didn't even consider walking him.  I thought I read one time that this new Yankee analytical front office doesn't believe in hot or cold streaks. Ohtani is not only a great player but he's a great on the hottest stretch of his major league career, yet Boone pitched to him in the biggest moment of the game. |
