I picked up Sandoval for the reverse jinx. I used to bet against the Saints. That way, if they won, I was still happy. More often than not, I was sad with a few extra dollars in my pocket to ease the sting. |

One thing about leaving California, I do miss going to Anaheim to watch an entire series with the Yankees. Weather was usually great, drive was only about three and half hours, and it was easy to get a 5-Star hotel for cheap on Priceline. The only problems: those stupid thunder sticks, that infernal rally monkey, the beach balls, and fans yelling "BALK!" with no one on base.  |

The weather report from Mosca today:
It was 90 degrees with a relative humidity of 12% this after noon on a cloudy day with a UV of only 1. The AQI is 48.
90 is big time heat here, but for me the good news is it was 102 in Pueblo West, so that makes me feel better about the 90!
The transmission shop has loaned me a little black Kia with over 220.000 miles on it run into town and such. Nice of them, and it’s also an incentive for them to get my car done so they can get theirs back, almost every “bad” light possible is lit up on the dash and when I picked it up the rear passenger side tire had 5 (FIVE!) PSI.
The six or seven windshield cracks don’t get in the way much and since the rubber trim around the windshield was hanging off, they removed to “fix it later”. Oh, and of course it had the old-fashioned 4-70 AC. In other words roll down all 4 windows and go 70, excerpts this one is a 3-70 as one rear window doesn’t work.
But it’s better than nothing. Better by a lot when needed…

Oh my. Forgot the dew point, which is the best indicator of comfort level. The lower the better. Well ours was 32 today…
