So another thing I don't get...
The Yankees say "we're in it" and I'm sure they have those last 12 games circled in heavy red ink like I do since it's 6 Toronto games who they are chasing and 3 at kc while Toronto plays Tampa.
So as I've said 100 times they need to be within 3 games when they first Toronto series starts...they are only 2.5 games off that mark so it's not much to make up but how you make up anything if you keep making these dumb decisions after a win?
They win the second game in Baltimore and they rest judge and lose the next one. Then they win the first game vs Houston and rest judge and lose the next one. Then they win the second game in Chicago and bring in Severino when Vasquez and others could have pitched and they lose that one.
In order to get to that magic number of 3 by September 19th they need to go on a long winning steak of like 7-10 games or at worse win like 8 of 10. How are they supposed to do that when everytime they get a big win they make some dumb lineup decision the next day and lose that game they just gained?

You act like this while they are over 500 and within reach of a playoff spot how would you act if they were the as or royals record? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk They certainly don't need a rebuild but the do need a healthy Nestor and Rodon to go with Cole and Schmidt, plus one more starter. Offense needs a lot of help, upgrades at LF, 3B and catcher. They'll need a new CF too since I wouldn't bring Bader back. Heck, maybe they do need a rebuild.  Yes they need a Rebuild or a Reboot really badly now = beginning with Cash Boone. For 13-years I have been screaming, praying for such (rebuilt) and the results are No rebuilt No reboot AND NO WS.        |

While I do agree the team needs changes if Judge doesn't miss two months they probably are still in a wildcard spot the season really turned not jumping on the Orioles throat when two games behind them on July 5th.
