I cannot believe how much cheering there was on the judge strikeout and the last out either there's a million Boston fans or this fan base has turned on the team that much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hal doesn't care, Boston fan's money is just as green as New Yorker's. Losing 8 games of 9 to Boston including 5 in your own stadium is embarrassing. There's still 4 to go too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I made it to 5-5 in the 8th and it was a ballgame but the ride home from SC to NJ got the best of me and I passed out.

I’m in town now picking up pizzas for our company and us.
Had to leave right after Boston scored. Honestly, don’t know it wound up 6-5, or what at this point, but we were robbed n the call at home tgat should have given us the lead. I felt IKF was safe, and since that was the call on the field, I can’t imagine what the replay guys saw that clearly would reverse that call.
That also seems to be the watermark of a team that stinks. The calls go the wrong way…

So let me see if I got this right = WE loss AGAIN???!!! Time for the Reboot and dump the tradh and call up more Prospects www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/the-yankees-are-embarrassing-themselves-with-prospect-situation/ar-AA1fws5o?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=4e1d4c2a6bff44738ae894db35fb6322&ei=22 ...The Yankees would do well to give some of their promising prospects a shot. Players like Oswald Peraza, Perera, and even Austin Wells deserve consideration, especially with an eye on the 2024 season. Focusing on nurturing and integrating these young talents is more pragmatic than clinging to a waning hope of a playoff berth with a $290 million roster. In any potential playoff scenario, as things stand, competing against formidable opponents like the Atlanta Braves would be a tall order for the Yankees. Recent matches have shown the Braves dominating them with ease. In summation, while the present seems challenging for the Yankees, their focus should unequivocally be on the future, nurturing their prospects, and building a team capable of reclaiming its erstwhile glory. www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/nyy-news-grasping-at-straws/ar-AA1fvTXE?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=96e06a0392984ead8897f7301ac49a39&ei=17 USE THE STRAWS AS A BULL HORN TO CASLL UP MORE PROSPECTS. ... With the Yankees all but eliminated from the Wild Card race (and with the cutoff date to preserve rookie status in 2024 achieved), it’s time for the team to give some of their prospects major league experience. Kuty proposes four call-ups, starting with the team’s No. 2 prospect Everson Pereira, cutting Greg Allen to make room. He rounds out his suggestions with Oswald Peraza for Billy McKinney, Clayton Beeter into the rotation moving Luis Severino to the bullpen, and Austin Wells for a back-end reliever. Yahoo! Sports | SNY Newsdesk: It’s no wonder Kuty identifies those players for call-ups as each of the trio enjoyed big days as the big league squad stumbled. Pereira smacked two solo shots, Austin Wells drove in three on a pair of hits, and Oswald Peraza reached base three times including a home run and triple. It remains to be seen whether their impressive performances are enough to earn a look-in. www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/yankees-32-million-slugger-having-career-worst-season/ar-AA1fwbmB?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=4a6903f959e1491487c94955ec353659&ei=38...Giancarlo Stanton’s Downward Spiral With the Yankees Yankee’s top-dollar outfielder, Giancarlo Stanton, bagging a whopping $32 million in 2023, epitomizes this inconsistency. Injuries are a constant, impeding his stride in the game. At 33, Stanton’s outfield stints are sporadic, clocking merely 215.1 innings this season. It’s a stark contrast to his more robust days, not having breached the 313-inning mark since 2018. This downtrend has essentially negated the defensive prowess that had been his hallmark in his prime. But, the stats narrate a grim story. The powerhouse is enduring the most lackluster season of his illustrious career: a .199 batting average, a .282 OBP, and a tally that includes 18 homers, 45 RBIs, and a 93 wRC+. What’s even more alarming is that for the first time, his WAR is in negative territory, making his spot in the batting lineup more of a liability. Though Stanton’s knack for hitting the ball hard hasn’t waned, the return on investment for the Yankees looks bleak. Dishing out $32 million for someone more suited to the bench than the batting order is untenable. The crux? General Manager Brian Cashman’s penchant for splurging on players whose heydays seem behind them. Doing the math, the Yankees are on the hook for $118 million over the forthcoming four years for Stanton. While the Miami Marlins pitch in $10 million annually, the lion’s share of this financial commitment rests with the Yankees.

The ceiling for this team if they were still i playoff position was probably the alcs still at best. They could beat the twins and if the orioles was next they played them pretty well this year 5 wins to 7 and prob blew at least 3 of those and def had a shot there they always do well against Seattle. Tampa would be a tossup. So even if they had turned it around and been in a playoff spot now I think the roadblock would be whatever Texas team they faced. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I do agree with the ruling on the plate block, but I saw a catchers mitt hovering above the runner until after the tag was made. Horse shit call. The replay officials may be worse than the field umpires…

thankfully there are only 38 games left. But I don't think they have learned anything that will improve us next year. Maybe injuries are the key and we won't be injured next year.
