Basabe didn't get the memo that you're supposed to be awful at the plate when you first get called up, like most Yankee prospects are. Ain't that the truth. Yankee prospects are required to get that 1 for 19 out of the way before a true evaluation begins. Glad to see one of them get a two-out rbi tonight, though. Maybe it'll loosen him up a bit. |

I just want to see Cole make a run for Cy Young and have a few good performances. Besides Judge hitting HRs and a few youngsters I closed the book on 2023. Time for football and hockey.

We had our final day with our company today, so I missed all of this one. Looks like I’ll have my regrets for having done so, but we took the company to the Great Sand Dunes. the Sand Dune Pool, and lunch and dinner. I have to drop them at the airport at 7AM.
Nice to see them, but it’s been 6 days, which also means it’ll be nice to see the plane take off tomorrow. 🤓 …

It got a bit old today. Ruthie’s son is never in a hurry, to put it mildly… today he was lallygagging getting ready to go, not checking on his son to make sure he was ready, etc. I knew what they wanted to do and about how long it would take I finally just announced that I was going out to the car and anybody that wanted to go better get out there before I left. BOOM! Everybody was out side within a couple minutes! 😂 … |
