It doesn't seem like a full-fledged Yankee broadcast to me without Kay. Ruocco (sp?) is okay, but I think he's rather bland and his voice is sleep-inducing. I do like Nelson's bluntness. He'll probably be fired. Kay is the Yankees and games feel weird without him. Nelson is great. |

He'll probably be fired. Kay brings more energy than Ruocco and more biting commentary. Oh my, Peraza gets robbed! Ruocco: “The runner goes. <yawn> he’s in there safely.”… Kay: “Gleyber RUNNING! He got a GREAT JUMP, and he’s in there safely.” And Kay’s voice just has a pleasant, familiar, and comfortable tone, which emanates and echoes through the various passages in his extra long facial area… |

We were in moose country last week. I was ever vigilant as a driver can be. At one point Ruthie said very calmly, I think I saw a moose when we crossed that bridge. I turned around, and discovered a couple of large boulders in the Rio Grande headwaters, but no moose. Very disappointing… We were at the site of North Clear Creek Falls. The area above the falls was all swampy and heavily forested with what appeared to be waist-high greenery. I think I looked back there nord than at the waterfall, but no luck. Most likely 1/2 dozen moose saw me, but didn’t really care. I saw none… |
