I called today and was told that he was out sick (you’d think they could fix themselves wouldn’t you?). they girl said that he had no openings until the 18th. I nicely told her that I was a diabetic and my toes, which are being treated for a possible infection that I was told could lead to amputation (liar liar pants afire). Then she told me if I call in right at 7AM tgdy generally reserve a couple of times in case someone has a need before the weekend. I’m going to make that call. I also want to get his input on how much the move downhill may help Ruthie. As I told you in an earlier post, I already determined that science (real science, not the kind our fearless “leaders” use) that she wound get +/- 20% more oxygen. I can’t see how that would be a bad thing… Tonight I plan to swipe one of Ruth’s Quentapine tabs, 50mg. Remember out crazy visitor, Trudy? That’s what she takes. I might as well experiment. I am the walrus… I am the egg man. Cucucachoo! … Hope you get things straightened out, Inger. Maybe taking a trip for a couple of days to a lower elevation would provide some anecdotal information for Ruthie? We’re heading out that way tomorrow. Ruth is going to monitor here pulse ox the entire trip and visit. I think it can give us an answer. If finances were better and I didn’t have a ton to do around here, I stay out that way for a week or two…

The Quentapine Ruth take is 50mg. I was tempted to cut it in half but popped the entire tablet. Went to bed sometime within the hour after taking it. Ruth was amazed. She said me head hit the pillow and I wax out.
On the negative side, I slept til 12:30 and still struggle to get up. Perhaps a 1/2 tonight… I may be on to something, rewarding me for listening to Trudy’s filibuster the other morning…

I’m going to lay down in the dog’s bed. I’m still foggy, groggy and several kinds of other oggy’s. All except for egg noggy. I’m not that…

It also makes it difficult to get up like you said. If you’re not careful it can knock you out for up to 14, 16 hours. Side effects also include weight gain and high blood sugar. So be careful with it especially using without a doctors prescription.

I think I’m good to go now…

I have high blood pressure they say (140/86) but the solution is taking pills and I have panic attacks when something solid hits my throat so I will take my chances.

You may improve if you follow these guidelines: f you have high blood pressure, the American Heart Association (AHA)Trusted Source advises eating plenty of: fruits vegetables lean protein whole grains At the same time, the AHA recommends limiting foods that can keep your blood pressure elevated, such as: red meat salt (sodium) foods and drinks that contain added sugars Just don’t let it keep going up… take care of yourself, buddy…

Quentiapine is not right for me either. I took 1/2 pill and I loved that it put me to sleep, but not that my fasting sugar was up 20 or 30 points in the morning, nor the fact that I felt hungover most of yesterday.
Last night I decided to put on my big boy pants and just go to bed with no sleep aide. Unfortunately, it was not a good night from a gastrointestinal point. I went to sleep for a few minutes. Then I went to bed this morning and slept for about 2.5 hours. I set an alarm to get up for the game, but was already up when it went off...
I as t tempted to consult with our doctor Friday, leaving a phone message requesting a call back, but he hasn’t called… he’s booked until the 20th, and I have an appointment for the 29th. I’m going with the assumption that if I can kick Ambien to the side maybe I can convince my self I don’t need anything to sleep…

You can try some over the counter stuff like melatonin, Benadryl, or Unisom.

That OTC stuff does nothing for me. I’m addition, living in this dry environment, Benadryl is not conducive to proper hydration. Most of those OTC type things are enough to make me drowsy, but not to put me down…

I only eat potatoes, soup, rice, and potatoes, rice, soup I drink too much coke, but will limit it to one a day. Probably exercising more would help.
