Is it just me or does 25 seem way too high for Cano?
In my opinion, it's not just you. Cano was a talented player. But I don't consider him in the top 100 Yankee players out of principle, because top players should run hard to 1B when they hit a ground ball. I agree as well, Cano should be nowhere near 25.

Did you know that before the Yankees did grab Nettles, the Phillies and Yankees had talked about a trade involving a young 3B named Schmidt for their Closer Spark Lyle. Clipper

Always been a big Nettles fan. Excellent power bat, clutch hitter, and an all time great fielder.

Thanks for posting this! Isn't it time for a Graig Nettles day at the Stadium? Maybe a plaque with all the other Yankee greats.

I don't really care that much either way about who has a plaque in Monument Park, but if you are going to put Maris, Posada, O'Neill, and Reggie Jackson out there, Nettles should be there too. IMO, none of those meant more to the Yankees than Nettles.

Clipper I never heard this before. Maybe it's the best for both franchises that his never happened. Also in the fall of 1965, the Red Sox Front Office approach the Yankees Font Office with a trade offer of Yaz for young Tom Tresh. Then later they would change their minds. Clipper
