Yeah its a trade that only gets done in fantasy baseball or a baseball video game lol If we are considering fantasy teams, I vote for going back in time and replaying the 1994 Yankees this season. Was always so disappointed they didn't get a shot at the championship, and particularly disappointed for Mattingly. Yes, that was Mattingly's best chance at world championship. It's a shame that greed ruined that season and what would have been a great post season. |

I remember that the Expos looked like the best team in the NL but the AL was loaded with the Yanks, White Sox and Indians all with great teams. It would have been a fun post season. |

The White Sox wanted Pitcher Hampton and OF Jones from the Yankees for Cease, they were turned down by the Yankees Front Office. Then they asked the Orioles for an outrageous deal for Cease, the Orioles said no way. Looks like a July 31st Trade Line deal for him.

ClipperI couldnt agree more . Bellinger has had one good year in the last 4 years , that alone makes him a bigger risk than snell . Snell is a 5 inning pitcher but chances are he is a top pitcher for those 5 innings . That being said i would rather go for an innings eater in monty over snell |

I agree that a long term contract could backfire if he reverts to his old ways. I would definitely want opts outs in it. No more than 2 years. Snell is a 5 inning pitcher, who will require a long-man and couple of relievers ready when he starts a game. I would rather have Jordan back with the Yankees than Snell.
