On the Prodigy forums back then I boldly predicted that Militello and fellow rookie Bob Wickman would both win 14 games. Despite being in the pen most of the time Wickman fullfijed my prophesy for him. Militello went down the rabbit hole and never came back up… Was Wickman the pitcher who was missing part of a finger or am I confusing him with someone else? Yes! Supposedly, this lesser digit made it impossible to throw a baseball straight - talk about a benefit (please consult your doctor before considering removing one of your fingers and a pitching coach before choosing the correct finger)

He's not an obscure player, but Tim Raines seems to be a forgotten Yankee.

He's not an obscure player, but Tim Raines seems to be a forgotten Yankee. Typical veteran role player that the Yankees had on those great Torre teams.

Glenn allen hill and shane spencer. Loved watching those guys play I remember Hill hitting one into the black at Yankee Stadium during his Yankee career. As a Cub, he also hit out of Wrigley, over Waveland Ave. and off a row house on the street.
