not particularly worried about the judge in CF thing. it's not ideal but knowing how anal boone is about protecting his players and getting guys rest etc, i'm sure he'll monitor the situation closely. he's not gonna hurt his star.
with 5 OF'ers (including stanton) there's so many ways he can mix & match and scenarios that can play out. for example, while i'm rooting for a bounce back for stanton, if does hit poorly as most here think, then i can envision him sitting especially against RH'ers. then judge moves back to RF, verdugo LF and grisham CF - which is probably the team's best defensive alignment. boone's also gonna try to get grisham - a GG CF'er as many games there as possible. with all those guys, the only constant is judge & soto playing as many games as possible. the others are pieces that boone can mix & match depending on matchups, rest etc.
we haven't played a real game out. these things have a way of working out.
