Just way too much Verlander. It's amazing how good he's been since coming over to Houston.

Just way too much Verlander. It's amazing how good he's been since coming over to Houston. The first three hitters Gardner, Judge, and Sanchez go 0 - 12. Bird with two hits and Didi with two hits. I'd prefer Bird hitting third behind Judge from now on, Stanton and Sanchez, then Hicks, Didi, Andujar, and put Torres back in the nine hole. He was impatient and over swinging today.

Well, at least Bird homered.

Well, at least Bird homered. That swing so perfect for Yankee Stadium.

At least when Verlander did his little tip of the cap, he revealed a small bald spot. So, when he's down below with Kate, doing his business, we know what she sees now...

The most encouraging signs of the day were the two Bird and two Gregorious hits...Plus Didi ripped a few really sharp foul balls, too...C'mon, Didi!!!

I cant even believe how good Verlander has been. Hes having a historic start to the season...this is Pedro, Koufax, Gibsonesque. This isnt like CC reinventing himself as he ages with a ton of mileage on his arm. This is a 35 year old pitching better than he ever did in his prime. Its absolutely insane.

I don't think it's natural... especially Morton... Who gains that many MPH on his fast ball at that age? Clemens?
