Nestor starts the 6th at 67 pitches
Gets Brujan to fly to Verdugo on the 4th pitch.
Gets Fortes to fly to Judge on the 4th pitch.
And gets Arraez to hit a fliner toward the corner in left, but Verdugo is playing him that way, and catches without too much trouble.
Easy 1-2-3 for Cortes in the 6th, just 10 pitches and 77 through 6.

So, instead of a walk, Soto strikes out. Thanks, ump. For what it's worth the 3-0 pitch was marginal on Gameday, maybe just grazed the top of the zone, and Statcast K zone which usually expands the zone by 2-3 inches high and low says it was a strike. |

de la Cruz works the count to 2-1, they takes FB waist high a couple of inches outside back up the middle for a leadoff single.
