Good 1st pd for the Rangers...maybe their best period of the series, played the Panthers even or better, and go to intermission with a 1-0 lead, nearly 2-0.

They were moving the puck real well. Shame Mika's shot hit the crossbar, he really needs to get off the snide. And here comes the Panthers right back, pretty much dominating again in the first 4 minutes of the 2nd. Once the Yankee game starts, I'll be commenting on the Rangers game in the Yankee game thread.

Another dangerous series of chances for the Panthers.

Rangers finally get a chance off a scramble, but not a very dangerous one.

Lindgren takes a holding penalty trying to contain Barkov behind Shesterkin.

Shesterkin with an arm save into the netting on shot from the high slot by a wide open Ekman-Larsen.

Panthers hit a post that deflects into the netting. Rangers win the facedoff and clear it down.

Reinhart had space in front and didn't shoot, passed it off. And then just as it looked like the Rangers killed it off, a late rush produces a shot just as the PP ends, Shesterkin can't control it, it falls behind his leg, and Bennett jams it in on a deflection off of Igor's skate to tie it at 1.
And the Rangers are in trouble again. And now I go to the Yankee game thread.

Rangers/Panthers headed to OT Since the NYR won the first road game in Florida, they have retaken home ice. 2 out of the next 3 will be at MSG. So far it looks like that series is going to go to 7 games.

I think if the Panthers dominate game 5 at MSG as they did game 1, this ends Saturday night in Sunrise.

Well it's do or die. Rangers historically have done good in Game 6's after losing Game 5, but then seem to fall flat in a lot of game 7's. There was somethings I liked last game and somethings I did not..either way the score was tied with 10 mins to go there's no reason they can't win this one and they don't usually lose 3 in row either. We will see.

Igor should have took matters into his won hands, like this guy.
