There's rumors out there that the Indians may consider trading Bauer if they get major league ready talent in return to help them with their playoff push. He seems like a lousy person based on the way he treated that girl on twitter, but if they would take Frazier for Bauer I would make that deal and hope that in the NYY clubhouse he's a better version of himself. Did Bauer every apologize to that girl?

Did Bauer every apologize to that girl? Not that I saw. He doesn't seem like the apologizing type. But he is a talented pitcher. He'd probably become my least favorite player on the team other than Chapman, but he would improve the team on the field.

www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/07/marcus-stroman-trade-rumors-yankees-twins-ken-giles-blue-jays.htmlThe Blue Jays have one of the best starters (Marcus Stroman) and one of the best relievers (Ken Giles) available on this summer’s trade market, and TSN’s Scott Mitchell tweets that teams have been expressing interest in acquiring both in the same package. Both the Twins and the Yankees have reached out to Toronto to express interest in a single trade to net both pitchers, per Mitchell, who cautions that the organization’s preference may be to maximize the return by orchestrating separate trades. Minnesota’s interest in Giles (and relief help in general) has already been reported. But for all the help the Twins could use in the ’pen, the rotation is also a potential area of focus. The wheels have come off the Martin Perez project of late, as the lefty has been hammered for a 5.37 ERA with 7.7 K/9, 4.0 BB/9, 0.85 HR/9 and a 54.6 percent grounder rate across his past 10 starts. And while Michael Pineda has improved in recent weeks as he distances himself from 2017 Tommy John surgery, he also figures to have his workload more carefully managed late in the season. The Yankees are a similarly logical landing spot for Stroman. Luis Severino has yet to pitch this season due to multiple injuries, while each of James Paxton, Domingo German and CC Sabathia has spent time on the injured list. Left-hander J.A. Happ has struggled as well (5.02 ERA, 5.35 FIP in 89 12/3 innings) — unable to replicate a quartet of strong seasons from 2015-18.

After the Clemens and Arod, I guess Yankee fans can get through anyone being on this team.

At least we didn’t have to suffer through Bonds or Sosa... Can you imagine a juiced up Bonds playing half of his games at Yankee Stadium? Pitchers, here is your choice: 600 BB or 100 HR...I think I’d just roll the ball over the plate and make him golf it.. or watch it go by... I’d gladly take my suspension...

Kennedy is out of the question. He’d need to be stretched out again to start, and he’s a bullpen Cinderella waiting to turn tona pumpkin in NY... so....he doesn't meet the minimum for you?....duly noted..... After giving this some thought, I would look at Anibal Sanchez. I’d also take Andrew Cashner off the Orioles hands. Both are veterans that can eat innings and at least keep the damage to a level that our bats could make up for... Sort of on the less-heralded side as well would be John Gray. He’s the Rockies ace, so he may not come very cheap...And he’s used to pitching in a place even tougher than Yankee Stadium for pitchers...

After the Clemens and Arod, I guess Yankee fans can get through anyone being on this team. The overwhelming majority of Yankees fans don’t care at all about the character of the players, and don’t care if they cheat. They don’t care how much the team spends and if that provides an unfair advantage over other teams. They just want the team to win and we’re brainwashed by the old man that they deserve it because they chose to root for the Yankees. For sure most Yankees fans wouldn’t care that Bauer attacked a girl on Twitter for disagreeing with him. Unless he stinks on the field or is injured, of course, then they’ll destroy him.

I had a thought about Anibal Sanchez a couple weeks ago....musing that although he is having a bad year, but he has had periods of brilliance in the past...and if the pinstripes worked their magic it would be fun... yeah...Cashner would be the minimum-type add for a club needing help..

I am a Yankee fan who fits those comments in red lines above....I just want the Yankees to win... I don't get into the off-field life or character of the players very much...I assume we have some good guys and some stinkers in their private life...maybe about the same as other clubs... I have no idea about the character of Bauer or really, anyone else....but Bauer could really help the Yankees, and I would be thrilled if the Yankees traded for him....so, I guess I am with the majority of Yankee fans, as you say....

How do you “attack” someone on Twitter? Kind of simple way to resolve that problem, if indeed one defines that as a problem. Which circle of hell did Dante assign to mean tweets?
