Hypothetical question: If Dominguez comes up and continues his hot hitting the entire year will it be a factor in how far Yanks are willing to go to sign Soto?

Hypothetical question: If Dominguez comes up and continues his hot hitting the entire year will it be a factor in how far Yanks are willing to go to sign Soto? I don't think so. It may mean they sign Soto and don't sign Verdugo. Guess much would depend on how far "other" teams (Mets?) would be willing to go to sign Soto. If I could wave a magic wand, Yanks would move Stanton and keep both Soto & Verdugo. One of the 4 (including Judge & Dominguez) could rotate at DH to get their ABs. |

His K rate this year is 34%, total MiLB K rate 29%. Still too high, but I think he's been steadily cutting that down. |

And I agree with his, but at what point do you look at Stanton and say "he's no longer worth wasting a regular spot in the lineup on"? He's purely a guess hitter at this point and it seems any pitcher with a decent breaking ball or off speed pitch makes a fool of him. |
