Misses a splitter going low, 0-1
Takes a splitter low, then a slider outside, 2-1
Fouls off a FB at the top, 2-2
Swings over a splitter diving to the knees for the K, inning over.
Bottom 1, Yanks jump out to a 3-0 lead.
Ryan threw 29 pitches in the first. Maybe the Twins should've started Ober.

Swings under a cutter in the middle, 1-1
Backdoor slider misses the low/outside corner, 2-1
Sinker misses outside at the top, 3-1
Swings over a cutter on the low inside corner, 3-2
Cutter to the inner 3rd, above the waist, swung on and missed for the K, 1 down.

Sinker misses about 2-3 inches low to Larnach, called strike 1 anyway. Schmidt got a break on that one.
Slider backs up way outside, 1-1
Cutter dives inside, Larnach swings over it, 1-2
Knuckle to the same area as the cutter, but Larnach spoils this one foul.
Cutter to the high outside corner, swung under for the K, 2 down.
Back to back K's for Schmidt, 11 pitches so far.

Sinker in the zone above middle, fouled back, Correa got a pitch to hit there. 1-1
Cutter low/away out of the zone, 2-1
Cutter starts at his body, he backs up as it breaks in the inner 3rd, 2-2
Cutter just outside thigh high, spoiled foul
Chases a slider waist high about 8 inches outside, taps it off the end of the bat in front of home. Wells gets out there, picks it up and throws out Correa to end the inning.
Top 2, 1-0 Yanks
17 pitch 1-2-3 for Schmidt in the 1st.
Berti, Grisham, and Volpe for the Yanks in the 2nd.

Gets a sinker in the middle, but grounds it to Julien for the 1st out.

Volpe gets a waist high sinker on the corner inside, inside-outs a Jeterian looping liner over 2nd to right for a 2 out single.
