Seems to me the Rays got to Nestor by swinging at the first good pitch they saw. White Sox are trying that as well. Nestor's general approach is to get ahead with hittable fastballs and cutters, then get chases on the corners and just out of the zone. Teams may be battling that swinging on the more hittable pitches early in the count.

Seems to me Judge has been getting that called correctly more often this week
Slider hangs inside, Judge checks but doesn't swing, 2-0
Slider well outside, starts and stops, 3-0
FB thigh high, inside corner, Judge not looking there, takes it, 3-1
This time, he IS looking right there, because Clevinger gives him the same FB and the same spot, and he hits a screaming mimi down the line just fair into the 2nd deck for a solo HR, Yanks take a 1-0 lead!!!
