The Astros miss Maldonado's catching. They don't miss his bat.

OK, my little 10-15 minute cleanse/restart turned into a half-hour fight with Windows. Apparently, what was slowing my internet down was Microsoft downloading some major updates, which it didn't notify me of before I restarted. It attempted to install them, which I tried to block by shutting it down multiple times because the last 5 times it tried to install the same update, it ran for 2 hours with multiple restarts, before dying and giving up on the install because of errors. In order to avoid it, I kept shutting it down. It finally settled for a minor update and I got control of my computer again. I then turned off updates for 7 days, and I'll resume fighting with it late tonight after the game...
In the meantime... The Yanks got a single by Rizzo with 1 out in the 2nd, but couldn't do anything with it. The White Sox tied it in the 3rd on a two base throwing error by Cabrera, a steal of 3rd by Remillard, and a RBI single by Vaughn. The Yanks went 1-2-3 in their 3rd as Clevinger struck out both Volpe and Soto. And the Sox got a 1 out double from Julks over Verdugo, but he got thrown out trying for 3rd on a comebacker to Cortes.
Judge leads off the 4th. Clevinger was at 48 pitches through 3. Cortes is at 53 pitches through 4.

Judge gets ahead on the count 3-1 leading off the 4th... Takes a change waist high, outer 3rd, 3-2 Judge takes his timeout. Cutter about 4-5 inches outside above the knees, ball 4.

Verdugo gets a FB above the waist outer half, and hits a foul fly out of play off the left side. Fb overthrown high, 1-1 Change at the knees is a 50-50 strike, but Maldonado boxes it back to the screen for a passed ball, possibly on a cross-up Change sits just outside middle, lined just over Vaughn at 1st, lands just fair, goes to the corner for an RBI double, Yanks take back the lead, 2-1!!!
