FB barely misses the high outside corner, 1-0
Tries to blow the FB by him at 95, inside corner above the waist, and Julks doesn't miss, belts it into the lower bleachers in left, 1-0 White Sox.

Slider waist high, inside corner, bounced foul. pitch count climbing, this will be his 30th pitch
Runner goes, FB down and in, the drops the bat happy zone, and he drops the bat on it, belted deep to left center, Verdugo can't catch up to it, goes off the wall in deep left center, kicks crazy to center, going past Judge trying to back it up, and by the time he can recover, it's an RBI triple, 2-0 White Sox.

Maldonado chases a FB way high -0-1
Gets a FB at the top in the middle, fouls it off, 0-2
FB on the outer 3rd, NOT down the middle, near the corner away, up in the zone, fouled back.
Slider inside, Maldonado checks, Trevino appeals to the 1st base ump, who says no swing, and right after the call, he fires to 3rd, picking off Mendick to end the inning.
Bottom 2, 2-0 White Sox. Ball is flying in the warm weather. Assuming the Yanks can figure out Flexen's vast assortment of junk, they might hit some HRs today.
25 pitches for Rodon in the 2nd, 37 through 2.

In the NL East, the Phillies remained white-hot, winning 5 of 6. They're now 31-10 in their last 41 games, and at 19 games over .500, they have the best record in MLB, by one game over the Yanks. The Braves were 3-3 this week, remain 11 games over .500 and trail the Phils by 4 games now. Despite going 1-4, the Nats are still in 3rd, but 7 1/2 back of the Phils and 11 1/2 out of 1st. The Mets went 1-5 this week, and are in 4th, 1/2 game behind the Nats, 8 behind the Braves and 12 out of 1st. The Marlins have woken up from their season-long coma, winning 4 in a row. They still have the worst record in the NL< 17 games under, 6 behind the Mets, 6 1/2 behind the Nats, 14 behind the Braves and 18 out of 1st.

Gets a FB down the middle, below the waist, and somehow mis-hits a dribble toward 3rd. Mendick well of the line lunges to the backhand, and again it goes off his mitt, this time for an infield single
Rizzo at 1st, 1 down for Torres.

Torres misses a cutter on the corner away.
Cutter flipped high, 1-1
Takes a big slow curve that winds up in the middle of the zone, 1-2
FB wasted high, 2-2
Change dives waist high, just inside, Torres pulls it down the line in left, but well foul.
Takes his timeout.
Throw over on the speedy Rizzo.
Trying to keep the GIDP in order, I guess.
FB waist high outside by 2-3 inches, but tailing back, so Torres chases and fouls it off.
Cutter stays above the zone, fouled almost straight back
