Just speculating... I'm not sure if the Yankees have any interest in signing Bregman this off season... Bregman isn't having a much better year than Gleyber. What I like about Bregman is that he's a contact hitter that hits for power. He's not having a good season, but it's still early in the season. One might say that so far the season he's having is nothing to Breg about.

Rather have Heart Attack Holmes blow a save now than in October.

Yep, Durbin also has a very good OBP. Question is...will he be ridiculed as Altuve has been? Called a "gnome" or "dwarf"? Probably. He’s gonna have to tough. One other note of concern, as I think it was you that said, “He’s getting it done at AAA. But the AAA stats are greatly inflated right now. If I recall the ratio is something like a 146 OPS+ there is equal to and expected 100+ for MLB. It’s not a good situation…

I haven't done any research re AA vs AAA to verify, but it seems much more common for players to jump from AA to MLB than it was at one time. Don't know how true that is.

I feel that’s true as well, Bob. AAA is often littered with aged-out MLB players, hanging around to fill in for injured MLB players. It’s also playing by a few different rules as MLB experimental rules are tested there…

Yankees had been playing way, way over their heads. Mariners are not the White Sox. Yankees are getting swept in this series. Mariners are the better team despite the comparative records to this point. Yankees will be coming back to earth with a resounding thus after this game. Count on it. Lol, this guy's IP traces to the Bronx, NY. Probably a self hating Yankee fan. What a loser.
