gleyber unassisted on rodriquez' grounder up the middle. schmidt labored but got through 5. 2 runs - not terrible. one bad pitch cost him.

Slider misses barely low on the outside corner, that one was a ball, and Rodriguez did well to take. Schmidt wanted that one and whatever chance the Yanks have of holding this game close hangs in the balance here.

Sinker thigh high outer 3rd, chopped over the mound, Torres gloves just to the right of 2nd, takes the only play he has, just barely beats Moore to the base for the force. He probably had no chance to throw the very fast Rodriguez out, so it was the smart choice.
