Yes! Knicks win game 2 playoffs against Pacers!! Knicks 130, Pacers 121. What a game! I just hope OG is good going forward. That would be a huge loss. That one hurts. He couldn't walk. Hope it is a hamstring cramp and not strain but it looked terrible. We don't really need his defense against Indiana but it is mandatory against Boston. OG needs his minutes monitored but Thibs doesn't do that. I'm losing track of how many players are getting injured. Don't mean to blame Thibs but I can't look past the numbers. Mitch 2X, Randle overplayed and hurt at end of game, OG, Brunson, (Grimes and RJ while here). I know we can say Mitch is a big guy, Randle fell down though he was exhausted, etc. but the numbers. And on top of this Grimes and Obi didn't want to be here and boy did we sell Obi low. Those repeated stories of players not wanting to play under Thibs; Starting to make sense. I love his defense but (during the season) he needs to not wear the players down. |

We are too injured to win it all this year, but with a healthy Julius and OG, we can.* We have many assets, if we can not give up Jules, Deuce, etc. we can get a VERY VERY good player to put us up with any team. *- If Thibs doesn't drive them into the ground. |

Needless to say it was a relief to hear that they said sore hamstring. OG is a good all around player, I hope that the Knicks can re-sign him and Hartenstein. |

So he didn’t play yesterday?… He played many yesterdays ago. I used to watch pro basketball in those days a bit. My true interest in the sport was in following those Lefty Drissell U of Maryland Terps back then. But honestly I lost interest many moons ago. I tried to play basket ball in high school, but I was a bit too rough for the sport… I was too aggressive going for the ball, not quite getting the team concept… instant foul as soon as the game started… baseball was the only team sport I seemed to pigeon hole into… and bowling was okay too. Eventually golf for a few years. |
