He played many yesterdays ago. I used to watch pro basketball in those days a bit. My true interest in the sport was in following those Lefty Drissell U of Maryland Terps back then. But honestly I lost interest many moons ago. I tried to play basket ball in high school, but I was a bit too rough for the sport… I was too aggressive going for the ball, not quite getting the team concept… instant foul as soon as the game started… baseball was the only team sport I seemed to pigeon hole into… and bowling was okay too. Eventually golf for a few years. Whats your highest bowling score ever?

Interestingly it was my first 600+ set with the final game just getting me over the top… The next week I couldn’t get the feel and rolled a horrendous set, but then the week after that I had my best series ever. My first game was in the high 240’s. I followed that with a 238 at which one of my friendly opponents said “Shitty game, Leon.” The final game started with five open frames, but I was able to find the line again and had all strikes except for one 9 with a spare to pull out my average at the time of 172… and beat the high series from two weeks prior. Oddly, with about 3 weeks to go in my final year, I had an excellent bowler sitting behind me and showed me where I was losing the power on my ball, and the tip was pretty dang impressive, but I was quitting for work, so I had to step away… might have been better off to leave the job in the long haul…😂

You were quite the bowler! I still have the pic of young inger and his bowling team:

And my dad, Wendell on the right… I only knew him for ten years before he passed away. I believe we did six years on the team together, enjoyed winning championships three years in a row at one point…

Man, I've never seen a team with so many injuries as the Knicks this year. Our physical style of play along with Thibs short rotations does not mix well.
Hopefully the crazy amount of injuries this year forces Thibs hands into a TRUE 8 man regular season rotation.
There is a reason we lost 3 players in one series.
Wow.
If we don't win our game 7 might be a good thing for next year. Our team is looking like a Brunson plus a good bench unit. Don't want more injuries.

The reason why they lost 3 players in 1 series is because that stuff happens. Thibs didn't have much of a choice. If he gave his bench players anymore minutes it's very likely the Knicks lose to the 76ers.

My friend and I got tickets to Game 7 Sunday Pacers at Knicks at the Garden. Let’s go Knicks! The best NBA game I ever attended was Game 4 of the 1973 Eastern Conference Finals. Future Hall of Famers on both teams. The Knicks won in double overtime. I remember when Dave Cowens fouled out, MSG was so loud that I couldn't hear my own voice yelling and cheering on the Knicks.
Enjoy, and have a great time. I hope it's a great game.

This game is an embarrassment though I understand they have injuries and beating Boston was low, but I've always felt the NY Rangers were the MSG team with more of a chance of winning this year and thats what its looking like.

Ah well. Despite being at the game for the elimination game, It was a fun season. Just too many injuries in the end. And the pacers shooting an nba playoff record 67.1% in game 7. Now I can focus my attention fully on the Yankees at least!

Just missed having two game 7's at the Garden, that would have been something.
