Normal Yankees lineup today, except that Trevino is batting 9th, and Cabrera 8th.
Volpe takes a FB near middle, 0-1
FB on the high outside corner, fouled off, 0-2
Slider well outside, Volpe lunges across the plate, and hits a flare off the end of the bat, it falls in front of Raley for a leadoff single. Lucky, but I'll take it.

Excellent change dives outside, Soto chases and misses, 0-2
Same pitch more or less, Soto reaches for it, bounces it back to Castillo, who starts an easy 1-6-3 DP, two outs, no one on.

Slider on the inside corner, Verdugo pulls it hard, but well foul, 0-1
Change in the zone, outer 3rd, and Verdugo misses just under, deep drive right of center, Rodriguez goes back to the track and cathes with a little leap, inning over.
Top 2, 0-0

Chases an exploding FB tailing above the zone outer 3rd, 0-2
Change tailes just outside thigh high, he chases and spoils, still 0-2

Big arm action slider to the outside corner, swung on and missed, 1-2
Starts the change outside, but it backs over the outside corner, gets a small piece. Rodriguez gave up on it, and is surprised it's strike 3. But it was; 20-25% on Gameday. ꓘ, inning over.
