Slider well low and away to Torres, 1-0
Same pitch, same result, 2-0
Misses a cutter above the waist, outer 3rd, HR hero swing, pulled off it. 2-1
Goes with the FB near the corner away, bloops one over 1st, Tatis makes a move but has no shot, falls in for a 2 out single.

Watching Tatis put on an oven mitt at first base got me wondering, can/do players use sliding gloves to extend their reach? Could be a couple inch advantage on a head first slide. Banning them has been discussed…but it’s hard to take things away from offense… Old inger could use one about 88 feet long…🤓 |

Backs a sinker near the outside corner at the knees, gets the favorable call, 2-1 Gameday says it missed clean by 2 inches

And Torres doesn't wait to make sure Musgrove is going home, gets trapped way off first, no chance to get back, pickofff end the inning.

Rangers finally get a power play, a ton of nice passing around the perimeter a few shots, most of them spoiled, a scrum in front leads to nothing, and no really open shots. Power play over.

Golfs a low knuckle curve deep down the line in left, but it hooks foul
Slider way outside, 1-2
Cutter at the top spoiled
Sinker misses low near the corner inside, 2-2
Slider away, and he makes solid contact, but hooks it off the end of the bat right to Cabrera, who throws him out, 1 down.
