Slow baseball day with our Bombers not playing so I thought it would be a good time to thank Kaybli for the energy he puts into this board. I'm sure this has probably been done in the past but as a newer member I am continually impressed with his effort. He engages every poster, seems legitimately interested in what we have to say, makes everyone feel welcomed and subtlety difusses arguments. I think he probably understands how much he is appreciated but wanted to make it clear that his efforts are not unnoticed.

Outside of his purported slum lord tendencies and suspicions of nefarious Mafia connections, Kaybli is indeed a prince of a human being. I doubt there is anyone from our old cadre that does not consider him a friend. A word I do not use carelessly. Kay only seems legitimately interested because he truly is. When he decided to attempt to preserve our old forum after its demise, I migrated here immediately. Kay is a singularly interesting person, has a wonderful sense of humor, and is easy to speak with on any subject. For those of us who occasionally imbibe, he is our favorite and most trusted designated driver.

Hurrah for my buddy, my pal, Mr. Kay Blee!
The forum is indeed a bit of work that I’d rather avoid, yet I come here for the fun.
I love my Yankees, but I also come here for the side talk and the comic value. I like that we run loose a bit, we can just walk in the door and throw our jacket on the couch. Take off our shoes, try the sofa.
I wrote a little biography of him. Sorry if it’s a bit long or intensive.
He was born on a cold and windy day, January 1. A New Year’s day baby. He has no idea what year it was, but is rumored that he hung out with Satchel Paige as a youth.
He started this here forum, for which we can all be grateful…
The End…

He kept this band of merry men (now we have merry women) of about ten of us regulars going for many years after we left Pinstripes Plus. He is a prince of a man who could probably beat King Henry VIII to an eating contest. I consider him dear friend.

Thank you so much guys for your kind words! It means the world to me. I truly love this forum and the people behind it, both old and new. I have grown close to so many of you and truly consider you good friends. Thank you 1955nyyfan, for starting the thread. It means more than you know. I love all our new posters who've made this a livelier place. And of course my old friends will always have a special place in my heart. It is awesome to have your efforts appreciated! What a great season: an influx of friendly new posters, and the Yankees on pace for 109 wins! I really feel we've made this the best place to talk Yankees baseball on the internet. The credit goes to all of you. So here's to you guys who make this board so great!

You are one of the funniest, warm, and friendliest people I know and I really enjoy our DMs as well which have stretched to over 14 pages over the years! We really have to take in a Yankees game one of these days and eat at a good steakhouse. Just remember to stay hush hush about "this thing of ours".

I decided to write a song for Kaybli. It’s called “Kaybli, We Appreciate You So Much.”, and it goes like this:
Kaybli We appreciate you So Much.
Sing it to the tune of a song called “Kaybli, We Appreciate You So Much.”…
