Hurrah for my buddy, my pal, Mr. Kay Blee! The forum is indeed a bit of work that I’d rather avoid, yet I come here for the fun. I love my Yankees, but I also come here for the side talk and the comic value. I like that we run loose a bit, we can just walk in the door and throw our jacket on the couch. Take off our shoes, try the sofa. I wrote a little biography of him. Sorry if it’s a bit long or intensive. He was born on a cold and windy day, January 1. A New Year’s day baby. He has no idea what year it was, but is rumored that he hung out with Satchel Paige as a youth. He started this here forum, for which we can all be grateful… The End… Thank you inger! You bring so much to the forum from the witty banter to the endless baseball trivia. Everyone knows you're a nonstop comedy show but I know you have a big heart as well. Proud to call you a friend buddy! Maybe one day we will get you to try some sea urchin or at least some condiments (baby steps).

Slow baseball day with our Bombers not playing so I thought it would be a good time to thank Kaybli for the energy he puts into this board. I'm sure this has probably been done in the past but as a newer member I am continually impressed with his effort. He engages every poster, seems legitimately interested in what we have to say, makes everyone feel welcomed and subtlety difusses arguments. I think he probably understands how much he is appreciated but wanted to make it clear that his efforts are not unnoticed. Thank you for giving kaybli a shoutout, 55. He kept this band of merry men (now we have merry women) of about ten of us regulars going for many years after we left Pinstripes Plus. He is a prince of a man who could probably beat King Henry VIII to an eating contest. I consider him dear friend. Love you desousa! Being friends with you is the gift that keeps giving whether it be from your incredible knowledge of movies, your expertise on our prospects, or your warm persona in general. I could beat ol' King Henry in an eating contest but it would have to be ice cream. Here's to talking baseball and other things with you for a long time to come, and I promise not to bring up Joseph Meister.

I decided to write a song for Kaybli. It’s called “Kaybli, We Appreciate You So Much.”, and it goes like this: Kaybli We appreciate you So Much. Sing it to the tune of a song called “Kaybli, We Appreciate You So Much.”… Dylanesque

It is always amazing to have your efforts appreciated. It speaks to me about the person you are that you would go out of your way to post such kind words. I appreciate it more than you know! And if you ever find that picture of your old softball uniforms with teal/turquoise shirts and white shorts you will have to send it to me to post on the board!

And relish (unless it’s got those little red things in it). I once ate a Big Mac with all the trimmings. What more must I do? … Kaybli, likewise, you are a treasure here and other places on earth. All anyone can do is the small acts that are within our power to make this a better place. You do them…

It just oozes out of my pores… 🤓 Thanks for creating this thread. Kaybli is a true treasure…

My best buddy is visiting next week from NC, this means some of the old softball team will be together for golf and dining out. I'll see if anyone still has a photo. I remember we played in a tournament in Oakland once and a group of black women approached us and said "you white boys better be good if your gonna dress like that". We did make it to the finals and had them rooting for us.

When Scout.com/247 Sports decided they didn't need baseball anymore and Pinstripes Plus fell apart, it was Kay who stepped up and saved our forum and kept us altogether. Thanks for all you do Kaybli, a true friend and just a great person!!!

Sing it to the tune of a song called “Kaybli, We Appreciate You So Much.”… Dylanesque Bob Dylan? Jakob Dylan? Or some guy on the street corner who calls himself Dylan?
