after the Gleyber at bat, I didn't expect this for the inning Yanks got some help from the ump, or it might never have happened. 1st pitch to Stanton... change in the zone low/away, hit sharply up the middle, but if it's fielded, he's an out, backhanded by Paris near 2nd, and he throws Stanton out by, oh, 15 feet or so. Inning over, but the Yanks score 5 and break it open, 7-1, going bottom 7. Long time on the bench for Rodon to cool off, but at 73 pitches, now, I think he throws the 7th for sure. |

FB outside corner at 97, hit hard down the RF line, but slices just foul near the pole in the corner, 2-2

He has to challenge on the 3-2 to Rengifo. He HAS to. Pillar up... Swings over a slider down and in. Humps up to 98, gets it over in the middle, above the knees, taken, 0-2 Slider down and in, but not down and in enough, rifles it over 3rd and into the corner for a RBI double, 7-2 Yanks. 2nd and 3rd, nobody out Ian Hamilton in for the Yanks with O'Hoppe due up. |

Hamilton hasn't pitched in a game since before he went on the IL
He's had 3 days of rest since being activated. I hope his command is there, or this could get ugly.
