Rangers backed off on the Panthers entering the zone again, and Bennett flipped it to Forslund right in front and he backhands it off the intersection of crossbar and left post and in to tie it at 1 with 11:30 left in the 2nd. Bad bad defensive play, Benett looked to the wing and then passed to Forslung cutting between Fox and another player to spring him down low.
And the Rangers just took a holding penalty.
Rangers had played well for the first 27-28 minutes, but maybe the Panthers are taking over again.

Change with good sink, outer 3rd, Volpe swings early and over, 1-2
Change backs up way outside and high, 2-2
Swings over a curve going down and in for the K. Volpe way out front of that curve.

I’m here but like a doofus I forgot to charge my phone while I was outside planting a bit of portulaca and some ground cover (speedwell) between my steeping stones… there you go, Rizzuto. 1 down, Soto up...
Takes a sinker just above middle, 0-1
High slider misses way above the outer half, Soto ducks, thinking it was at his head, 1-1
Slider into the zone down and away, 1-2, Soto doesn't seem to be able to read the slider.
Change backs up down and in, 2-2
Does a bit better with that slider to the outside corner, thigh high, spoils it into the stands back of 3rd.
Slider hangs above and inside middle, Soto hits it hard but lines it right to Paris for the 2nd out.

A complete thought… It could happen... Sandoval bounces a change to Judge, 1-0 FB at 97 (!) outer 3rd above the waist, Judge is late and under, fouls it off. Change bounced again, 2-1 FB yanked low over the middle, 3-1, too low to chase. Big slow curve winds up low in the middle, and just as Volpe did, Judge is early and over it, 3-2 Big sweeping slider into the zone, inner 3rd, above the waist, Judge baffled, takes it for the ꓘ, inning over. Yanks go 1-2-3 on 17 pitches Bottom 1, 0-0. |

Fb in the drop the bat happy zone, fouled off, 0=1
Slider in the zone low/away, gets under it, pops to Volpe just behind and to the left of 2nd, 1 down.
