Morris was pitching primarily out of the bullpen in Scranton. I'm not thrilled with bringing him up over Gomez. He'll be gone after tomorrow's game. |

I don't understand bringing up Poteet over Gomez. Gomez pitching 5 innings of no-hit ball tonight, one walk, 6 K's. Poteet has averaged less than 5 innings per start at AAA. That doesn't bode well for him at the MLB level.

Tries a push bunt on a change low, but jabs at it and pops it foul, 0-1
Slider stays high near the outside corner, 1-1
Slider below the zone, Volpe just a bit off-balance, so his fly to fairly deep right center doesn't carry, easy play for Pillar a couple of steps from the track, inning over.
Bottom 3, 1-0 Angels.
17 pitches for Sandoval, 46 through 3.
Tucker, Paris and Schnauel for the Angels in their half of the 3rd.
