Bailey... Sinker waist high, outside corner, taken 0-1 Splitter dives low/away, 1-1 Cutter misses well inside, thigh high, 2-1 Takes a sinker tailing to the outer 3rd, above the knees, 2-2 Same cutter as the 1-1, but lower, taken, 3-2 Sinker dives outside by 3 inches, Stroman wants the call, and maybe the ump has given it a couple of times, but in truth, that's ball 4 and not particularly close to the zone.

Cutter outside, swung on and missed, 0-1 Slider just below where the cutter was and Soler lifts it to left center, Verdugo moves over and catches, 2 down.

Stroman got plenty run support as he's on a roll to deliver great stuff. Could be pitching a shutout with a little help from his defense.

Cutter into the top of the zone, outer 3rd, not called, 30% on Gameday, 1-0 Cutter on the corner inside, fouled, 1-1 Sinker starts high, breaks down and away into the top of the zone outside middle, taken 1-2 Stroman steps off. Splitter bounced over home, 2-2 Cutter misses high in the middle of the plate, Wells tries to pull it down, but no sale, 3-2 Runner goes, and Wisely gets a corner 100% in the zone down and in near the corner, and stares at it, tosses the bat away, ꓘ, inning over. Not sure if he was tossing the bat to bluff his way to ball 4 or because he was disgusted at himself for taking an obvious strike 3.
Top 8, 6-2 Yanks 16 pitches for Stroman in the 7th, and 88 total. Boone lets him start the 8th, I think
Judge, Verdugo and Torres for the Yanks in the 8th.

The very tall Sean Hjelle into the game for the Yanks. Tallest pitcher hitter matchup ever, maybe? Hjelle is 6-11.
Curve to the knees, 0-1 Sinker outside, 1-1 Sinker near middle, Judge is late and under this time, flies out to Yastrzemski, 1 down.

Verdugo takes a sinker outside corner 0-1 Takes another above middle, 0-2 Chases a bounced back leg curve for the K, 2 down.

Mine did the same...was able to get back to YES I tried but it reopened with the SF guys again… I think Giants have a great group of announcers.

Torres... Sinker well outside, 1-0 Sinker near the top of the zone outer half 1-1 Sinker on the outside corner, thigh high, 1-2 Curve outside at the knees, 2-2 Curve well low/outside, 3-2 Backs a sinker waist high just outside Torres, tries to go to right, fouls it off. Curve in the zone low/away, pulled to Wisely's right, he has to go to the OF grass to backhand, sets and throws a strike to first, inning over. Yanks go 1-2-3 on 13 pitches, and haven't had a runner since Rizzo's double in the 6th. Bottom 8, 6-2 Yanks.
Ramos, Brooks, then back to the top against Matos. Let's see if Boone sends Stroman back out to start the 8th.

Stroman back out there, I assume on a short leash. Slurve taken low away, ball 1 Sinker on the inside corner called strike 1 Slurve outside corner waist high, served to center, easy play for Grisham, 1 down. And that's all for Stroman for tonight, 91 pitches in 7 1/3 innings, and, as he leaves no one on base, his ERA ends the night at 2.73, which MLB.com says is still just outside the top 10 in the AL.

Weaver comes in to face Brooks and Matos, at least.
