The Pirates and Jays each scored their ghost runner in the 12th, but the Pirates didn't score in the 13th, so the Jays have a free shot to win it in the bottom of the inning. Ha, Manfred is not happy with this, he expects these extra inning games to end in 10. |

Of course. And I remember how windy it was even with my Polo leather jacket which I thought made me the coolest guy ever back then.  Yeah, but did you have a burnt orange turtleneck?  Even I wasn't THAT cool. pippsheadache. |

Sinker misses barely low outer 3rd, 1-0
Sinker much lower same general area, 2-0
Backs the sinker near the middle of the zone, Torres misses under fouls it back
Gameday has caught up with the scoring change, the Wisely error is now a hit there as well...
Slider catches the outside corner, taken, 2-2
Bounces a slider well outside, 3-2
Sinker backs near the outside corner, misses by an inch or so, but called strike 3 anyway. Gleyber thought it was ball 4 and Gameday says he's right, 0% by an inch. ꓘ, 1 down.

Splitter way low inside corner, 2-1
Chases a sinker going out of the zone low/away, 2-2
Rizzo takes his timeout.
Same sinker this time on the corner away, rolled over to Hicks on the right side of the mound, he takes it all the way to first for the out.

Wells takes a splitter, then hammers a sinker above the waist, outer 3rd, lined up the left center gap, goes to the wall for a 2 out double. Very nice hitting there by Wells, didn't try to pull that sinker up in the zone.

Yep, it was SBC in 2004 and 2005. Can you still smell the garlic fries? Of course. I’m fortunate to own a nice black leather jacket that some nice old folks gave me that was made in the 40’s. Beautiful piece that I love to wear… |

Fb runs inside, he pulls it hard but well foul off 1st.
Same splitter as the first two, he takes it again, 2-2
Splitter higher but more inside, functions as a back leg changeup and Cabrera chases and swings over it for the K. Inning over.
Bottom 2, 0-0.
19 more pitches for Hicks in the 2nd, 42 through 2.
Chapman, who was batting when Stroman picked off Estrada, leads off the 2nd for the Giants, to be followed by Bailey and Soler.

Pipps has his corduroy jacket and burnt orange turtle neck. I have my Polo leather jacket. Inger has his salmon pants. |

The Pirates ghost runner tootblanned himself off base by going to 3rd on a grounder to 3rd, leaving them with man on 1st and 2 down in the 14th
